This is a design made to keep high-power 3U VPX and SOSA-aligned systems that are cooled by conduction at safe temperatures. The structure of the system helps to naturally conduct heat away, which greatly improves its ability to manage heat. It also takes advantage of VITA 48.2 plug-in modules that are easily available.
All GTK chassis come with either standard or custom-made backplanes. These backplanes are designed based on the specific needs of your application’s data flow. They can handle various signal speeds, including 1000BASE-BX, 1000BASE-KX, 10GBASE-KX4, 10GBASE-KR, and 40GBASE-KR4. In addition, they are compatible with VITA 66 and 67 standards for optical and radio frequency openings.
Custom I/O panels are also part of the design and include the layout and connector options necessary to suit high speed copper, RF and optical I/O as well as lower speed signals.
